Artykuł przedstawia postać ks. prof. Alojzego Kleina (1934–2002), wieloletniego dyrektora Instytutu Ekumenicznego im. J.A. Möhlera w Paderborn, mającego wielkie zasługi w rozwoju ruchu ekumenicznego ze strony Kościoła katolickiego. W opracowaniu ukazano jedynie mały wycinek jego dorobku naukowego – wkład w recepcję uzgodnień katolicko reformowanych. Skoncentrowano się na dwóch fazach tegoż dialogu: fazie dialogu chrystologicznego i fazie dialogu eklezjologicznego. Końcowa część syntetycznie zbiera wyniki badań i formułuje wnioski.

Il contributo si occupa di ricostruire, attraversi documenti finora mai pubblicati, le vicende realizzative relative all'inedito altare maggiore della chiesa delle Anime Sante a Valletta (Malta), opera dei maestri marmorari messinesi Antonino e Francesco Amato e aiuti degli anni 1743-1747. The essay, through documents never before published, speaks of the events related to the construction of the main altar of the church of the Holy Souls in Valletta (Malta). It is a work of the marble workers Antonino and Francesco Amato and aid from Messina made in the years 1743-1747.

The relation between state and Church is one of the main topics of Western political debate. In this essay I will stress that there is not a clear formula to face this topic. Therefore, it is necessary that Catholic philosophy and theology always reflect on the way this relation has to be thought as time goes by. More specifically, I will argue that the premise of liberal Catholicism, that is that a clear distinction between state and society exists, is today not more easily acceptable at all. This point is very important in order to reflect upon the relation between state and Church, political and religion, and public and private sfere in our age.

Abstract The doxological character is one of the essential aspects of the Christian worship, taken from the Hebrew divine worship. Thus, the doxological character of many Christian prayers and liturgical hymns represents the foundation and at the same time the key which reveals and explains the theology of the Creation, its mystery and purpose. The role of the Creation is to praise the Creator, as invited conclusively by the last verse of the last canonical Psalm: ”Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!” (Ps. 150, 6).
